What is Slabjacking?
Slabjacking, also referred to as mudjacking or concrete lifting, is a process of lifting concrete slabs that have settled. This is accomplished by drilling holes through the slab and pumping a sand/cement mixture under the slab. Slabjacking provides a liquid shim under the slab, which allows the slab to be guided back to its original location.
What kinds of surfaces can benefit from Slabjacking/Mudjacking?
Sinking or sunken concrete driveways, walkways, patios, pool decks, stair stoops, factory floors, and even roadways can be raised to their original elevation by slabjacking services. Slabjacking is a legitimate alternative to costly concrete replacement. By pursuing concrete lifting instead of replacing it you will save money, labor & dumping fees, plus your slab(s) can be used the same or next day. Slabjacking and concrete lifting does not affect your landscape either. You can save up to 50% of the cost of replacement by raising the concrete through the use of slabjacking services.
